The municipality is interested in capitalizing on the potential of the business environment, within public-private partnerships

In the context of the article presented below, the Unisim-Soft company, interested in developing the environment in which it operates, and which has been collaborating for several years with several subsidies from the Chisinau City Hall, for example the Public Transport and Communications Department, offers free licenses for the sales system of online tickets on the platform una.md/bilet. Thus, a letter of intent was sent by Unisim-Soft to the e-mail address: ppp@pmc.md.
The Chisinau City Hall urges the representatives of the business environment in the capital to participate in the economic capitalization of the objectives set by the municipality, within the public-private partnerships (PPP). Thus, projects in the field of education, health, social, sports, culture, etc., will be proposed to those interested in investments. A decision in this regard is to be approved at the CMC meeting on September 29, this year.
The initiative was presented today at a press conference organized by the representatives of the working group, which includes members of the executive and factions of the Chisinau Municipal Council. The forum was set up to relaunch the cooperative relations between Chisinau City Hall and the business environment in the capital.
Vladimir Mitru, the general mayor's adviser, mentioned that the municipality is open for a new stage of collaboration with local investors, through which it aims to make the most of municipal properties, including the rehabilitation of the complex of historic buildings in the city. Each project is to be implemented based on feasibility studies, which will be carried out through the contribution of external development partners.
The initiatives proposed by the Chisinau LPA for joint implementation with economic agents, based on public-private partnerships refer to:
- Rehabilitation of the cable car in the "Butoias" Park, Buiucani sector;
- Renovation of the underground passage from the intersection of bd. Stephen the Great and Saint and Ismail Street;
- Street lighting;
- Implementation of projects regarding the recovery of solid waste from the municipal landfill in Tintareni commune;
- Arrangement of waiting stations for public transport;
- Electronic taxation in municipal public transport;
- Arrangement of parking spaces in Chisinau;
- Installation of video monitoring cameras in the capital, to ensure public order and safety of citizens.
Thus, the business representatives interested in the collaboration with the Chisinau City Hall, are called to fill in an intention form, which will be sent to the e-mail address: ppp@pmc.md.
